Je suis allée au parc du village pour cueillir quelques brindilles pour dessiner. L'atelier en ligne (gratuit) de Renata propose de dessiner la nature! Oui, en Janvier!! On commence tout doucement. Il faut dessiner qu'une brindille. Pas si facile qu'on imagine.

I went to the local park to collect some interesting twigs. The free online workshop hosted by Renata (see link) invites to draw nature. Yes, in January! We start with simple subjects: draw a twig! Well, it is not as simple as one might think.

Indépendamment de cela je vois plein d'autres choses, comme un arbre avec un visage...... bon,..... peut être je n'ai vu que:

Apart from that I saw many other interesting things, like a tree with a face,..... well ..... perhaps I just saw:

....mais j'ai beaucoup de l'imagination! :)

Et ensuite j'ai vu un canard, tout à fait ordinaire, mais j'étais émerveillée par la couleur de sa tête. Le soleil l'illuminait si joliment.

And then I saw a duck, an ordinary duck but I was struck by the colour of its head. With the sun shining on it, it was so pretty.

1, 2, 3 petits canards.... Je n'ai pas pu m'approcher plus car je me promène comme toujours avec Buffy à mon côté. Elle ne les chasse pas d'ailleurs car elle a appris depuis longtemps qu'ils sont plus rapides qu'elle et eux, ils savent voler!

1, 2, 3, little ducks.... I couldn't get any closer because I had Buffy with me. She doesn't chase them though as she has learned a long time ago that they're always faster and they can fly.

A un moment je voyais quelque chose plutôt rare dans notre lac de l'Ovalie. Heureusement j'avais mon appareil photo avec moi, le nikon coolpixP510, ce qui peux 'zoom' sur une grande distance.

One moment I saw something rather unusual for the lake in the park of our village. Fortunately I had my camera with me, a nikon coolpix P510; it can bring the object really close.

C'était ma journée de chance! Il faisait si beau, peut être que 10°C mais cela sentait comme 18° au moins. J'avais envie d'y rester et dessiner; la photo de suite était mon sujet (le sketch n'était pas top, mais j'ai eu un très bon moment de le faire).

It was my lucky day. As it was only 10°C but it felt like 18°, I stayed in the parc to sketch a little. This was my view (the sketch isn't really good, but I had fun)

Et voilà la cueillette. Ce n'est peut être pas grande chose, mais ça prouvera beaucoup à dessiner.

At last I show you what I came home with; It doesn't seem much but there's a lot to draw!
