J'ai fait d'abord le nécessaire.... et parce que le travail doit être fait avant le plaisir, j'ai d'abord préparé l'année scolaire avant de revenir vous voir ici. Maintenant l'école est en route et grâce à mon expérience tout se passe très bien. Je me suis permis de finir la couverture pour mon cahier anglais. First things first! And as work comes before play I first had to prepare the school-year before I could join you here again. Now as all things are up and running I finished the playful cover for my books of lessons. The background was made in the same manner as I already showed earlier and just follow the links to see.

J'ai essayé plusieurs combinaisons: papier - tissu, mais finalement c'était le fond de page avec les oies que je trouve le plus gai.

I considered several possibilities by combining the fabric to the pages. I think the happiest page is the one with the geese.

Et à la fin quelques touches finales comme le ruban avec un petit embellissement. On dirait une plume de oie. C'est un gelli empreinte que j'ai fait sur tissu il y a très longtemps. Un petit bouton au dos le rend juste parfait.

At the end I add some finishing touches. The ribbon, with a kind of charm, is a gelli printed feather on fabric that I have kept many years. On the back I sewed a button to make it just perfect.

Un livre anglais n'est pas un livre anglais sans un titre et petit sous-titre. J'ai trouvé les mots dans un vieux livre.
