art marks challenge

Imagine comment mon petit album sera beau après un mois de 'mark making', des marques créatives. Centrale est un mot par jour. Ce sont des mots que Rae Missigman a choisi mais c'est intéressant de se poser et réfléchir autour et ce que peut dire ce mot pour moi.

Imagine what my album will look like after a month of mark making. Central is a word of the day. They're Rae Missigman's words but it is interesting to meditate a little around it and what it may mean for me.

Et c'est donc ainsi que j'ai commencé avec un petit journal sur des feuilles volantes. Après ce mois je les lie ensemble pour former un mini album. La taille: 14 x 8 cm.

And so I began my little journal of a month on loose pages. When this month is over I will bind them into a little album. Its size: 5.5 x 3.1 inches.

Prendre une décision n'est pas facile mais une fois pris cet obstacle il faut sauter en avant.

Decisions aren't easy to take but once overcome the hurdle of it, you should just leap!

Sauter, avant réfléchir encore et tourner en rond.... ou ne pas rêver quand on est presque sûr que cela n'arrivera pas de toute façon... Je suis quelqu'un qui réfléchira encore et encore, douter, ne pas être capable de prendre la décision....ce sont toujours des obstacles pour moi. Ces mots me le font réaliser.

Jump ahead, before you think again and come back on taken decisions....think and imagine and dream along, yes that's me. I often can't take a decision and doubt too much, not sure of the consequences. I realised with these words how difficult it is for me to take decisions.

Avec ce mot je dis: oui je suis déterminée de finir ce mois de créations, un vrai challenge car souvent je saute d'un projet à un autre. Quand j'envisage le journal du fin de mois, je suis motivée.

With this word I promised myself that I do want to finish this month of mark making; finishing it will be a real challenge for me as I always jump from one project to the other. But when I envision the lovely journal at the end of the month I am indeed motivated.

'Create' est le septième mot, une semaine.... en route pour les 21 jours qui me restent. Les pages qui se suivent, gauche et droit, dans le journal sont en harmonie. Je vous montre quelque double pages:
