Nous n'avons pas forcément les mêmes idées ou désires, mon mari et moi.

J'aime du thé, et j'écoute Sting "an Englishman in New York"

We don't always have the same ideas, nor don't we always like the same activities, my husband and I. It's tea that I prefer and it happens that I am now listening to Sting with "an Englishman in New York".

Lui, il préfère le café et être dehors, n'importe le temps. Il pleut aujourd'hui, il fait froid après les températures tropicales plus tôt dans la semaine, mais il est allé voir nos chevaux dans la vallée de la Fauge dans le Vercors....là bas il neige (presque). Je suis bien resté ici et j'écoute de la musique:

He prefers coffee and being outside come rain or shine. Even today, while it's raining and quite cold compared to the high temperatures earlier this week, he went to the valley "Les Fauges" in the Vercors mountains to see if our horses are alright. Up there it must be so cold and it will snow perhaps. I rather stay here, listening to Bob Dylan. (see link)

Le fond de page pour lui est fait avec des pochoirs et une dosette de café. Ma page est fait avec d'autres pochoirs et des sachets de thé. J'ai utilisé cette technique pour colorier du tissu également.

The background on the left was stained with coffee pads through stencils and on the right I used teabags in the same way. I used coffee and tea to colour fabrics as well.

J'ai eu l'idée pour définir ces pages quand j'ai trouvé un portrait pas plus qu'un doodle sur un coin de mon papier bavoir sur ma table. J'ai coupé le coin et dessiné l'homme avec un crayon stabilo à gauche.

I got the idea to finish this spread as I found a doodled portrait in an corner of some underpaper. I cut the corner to glue it on the right and I sketched the man with a stabilo pencil on the left.

En suivant les paroles inspirantes il y a d'autres idées pour créer des images.... mais maintenant c'est l'heure pour un thé et les préparations pour une autre semaine très chargée.

Listening to these songs gave me more ideas for other creations as the texts are very inspiring, but now it's time for a nice cup of tea and the preparations for another very busy week to come.
