violet - not my colour
La page dans mon journal est violet, la couleur que je n'utilisé guère. C'était une proposition sur le blog de "Documented life project". Je suis moins inspirée par ce projet cette année donc vous n'avez pas beaucoup vu passer ce thème. J'adapte et je trie ce que je trouve sur leur blog pour mon journal. Utiliser une couleur que j'évite d'habitude est un défi que je voulais prendre.
Purple on this page! It's not my colour really and I don't often use it. However, it was an inspirational idea from "The Documented Life Project" team that I saw as a challenge. Perhaps you wonder why you don't see as many articles with the theme of this project. This year they play the game a little differently and I can't adjust to the planners we should be making. I'm not a planner at all; I love it to hop from one idea to the next and create on a whim.
J'ai appliqué de la pâte à rélief par dessus un pochoir et j'ai pris secours à ma couleur préférée, bleu ciel, pour la page calendrier de mai.
Here you can see how I applied modeling paste through a stencil. I used my favourite colour blue to give the calendar some contrast. An inchie a day I'm going through the mont of May.
Sur une autre page un collage d'un morceau de sous-papier que j'ai découpé en forme de cheval; une première dans mon journal. Jusqu'à maintenant je n'ai pas utilisé une image d'un cheval fait par moi même.
J'ai du partir avec ma jument ce weekend mais ma santé à décidé différament.
On the next page in my journal I used a piece of under paper to cut out the shape of a horse; it's a challenge too because I never draw horses. The pages tells about this weekend I could have gone on a horse riding tour in the south of France. It's a shame I didn't feel well enough to join the group and had to stay at home.
Vous comprenez que sur la page de gauche le personnage ne fait pas l'impression d'être heureuse. Elle a resté à la maison, mais "the yellow brick road" (le chemin jaune) de l'histoire le magicien d'Oz doit certainément la guider bientôt vers un meilleur temps. Je dois d'abord gagner beaucoup de confiance avant de monter après une longue période d'absence.
Orange et noir pour le personnage, encore deux couleurs 'difficile' pour moi.
You understand that the person on the left is not very happy with a forced stay-cation, but there's a yellow brick road leading from her house to better times ahead. I'll have to build up my confidence though, to mount again on my very young mare after a long absence. The orange and black, two of my other no going to colours, express my feelings further.
Après ces pages de violet, orange et noir j'ai pris des couleurs qui me montent le moral, inspirée par Rae Missigman.

After my sad pages I had reach out for warmer and brighter colours. Inspired by Rae Missigman I painted my sorrows away.

Weekend chez moi, certes, mais pas sans créativité....j'ai dessiné beaucoup et je vous montre bientôt la suite de quelques "sketchbook skool" exercises.
