Pas beaucoup d'activité ici. Je viens de mettre les touches finales sur une page et un canevas commencés le mois dernier. Cette page est pour mon album de collages commencé suivant un cours avec Jane Davies l'année dernière. Mais les techniques s'évoluent.

Not much action over here. I just finished a page for my book of collages which I started last year with a course by Jane Davies. Influenced by other techniques it's fun to see how things develop.

Tout a commencé avec ce collage. Quand j'ai vu le mot if en lettres grasses, je m'imaginais la suite de la phrase....et oui: "if".... si les chien pouvaient parler. Donc il a fallu un chien sur la page. Et puisque je ne trouvais pas la bonne image d'un chien, il ne me restait pas autre que le dessiner. Ma chère Buffy était le modèle.

The page started with this collage. When I came across the big fat letters "if" my imagination went straight in the direction of my dog.....so often I wondered what she would actually say if she could speak. So I drew her onto the collage.

Peindre pour faire disparaitre certains détails et imaginer d'autres. J'ai dessiner avec le crayon stabilo.

Painting in and out I went....making disappearing some parts, inventing others by drawing them with a stabilo pencil.

Dans le miroir j'ai fait apparaitre vaguement le titre de la page. Comme j'ai aimé faire la page, j'ai voulu le répéter sur un canevas. Je vous ai raconté de ce début il y a quelque temps.

The title appears in the mirror on the wall.

I loved doing this page and I regretted that I didn't do it on a canvas. So I made another. I told you about it some time ago.

Buffy aussi dans ce tableau. Je vous raconterai en détail la prochaine fois comment je l'ai fait.
