Depuis la rentrée je n'ai plus beaucoup le temps pour faire de grandes choses. Alors j'en fait des petites.....selon le proverbe: celui qui ne se baisse pas pour un sou, n'est pas digne de trouver de l'or.

Donc vous, comme moi, devrez se contenter avec ce petit article....

Not much time for big fat art now the autumn break is over. So I do what I can in the little time given. It's like the old saying: He that will not stoop for a penny will never be worth a pound. Cette semaine j'ai pris mon temps pour illustrer le journal de notre paroisse.

I was too busy preparing classes and meetings and it was time for some drawings for the newsletter of our parish.

J'avais ces miniscules bouts de gomme qui me restaient après avoir coupé un tampon. Je ne jette jamais les restes jusqu'à j'en suis sûre qu'elles ne servent plus. Vous pouvez voir comment petits ces bouts sont par rapport au crayon. J'ai pu couper ce lapin tout mignon après l'inspiration de Hen's teeth.

Avec de l'encre stazon je l'ai tamponné sur un bout de coton.

I had these tiny left over scraps of material after having cut a rubber stamp. I never throw away anything; you can see by the pencil how teeny-weeny they are, but I managed to cut a cute little rabbit inspired by Hen's teeth.

I stamped it on a scrap of cotton fabric.

Dans quelques moment dérobés j'ai brodé quelques points par dessus l'empreinte. Heureuse de connaitre maintenant comment faire 'french knots' j'en ai ajouté pour faire les fleurs. Un peu de washitape en touche finale et je cousu ce mini tableau en coussin pour porter mes clés de l'école.

In some stolen minutes I stitched over the print and added my new learned stitch to give the idea of flowers. I finished it with a washitape and sewed it to make a tiny pillow to use as a key ring.
